Sponsored placements are always labeled and never affect editorial verification.
Who We Work With
We consider sponsorships from businesses that serve Indian Land-area households — home services, local retail and dining, and professional services — when the relationship can be disclosed clearly and does not conflict with our guides.
Our Standards for Sponsors
Sponsored placements are clearly labeled and kept separate from editorial guides. Sponsors cannot alter verification standards, community facts, or our editorial policy. Business listings in the local directory are verified whether or not a business advertises, and any sponsorship is disclosed on the listing.
Tell us about your business and goals below. For a free directory listing instead, use Submit a Business.
Readers come to Indian Land Living to research communities such as Sun City Carolina Lakes and Bridgehampton, to understand property taxes, and to plan building and design projects. We do not publish audience statistics we cannot document; we are happy to discuss what we can measure honestly.
How Sponsored Content Is Labeled
Anything paid for appears with a clear label at the point where a reader would see it — not only in a footer. Sponsored material never changes the facts on an editorial page, never appears inside a community guide as if it were our own research, and never overrides the jurisdiction and source standards in our editorial policy.
Indian Land Living is part of a network of affiliated businesses, listed openly on Our Network. Those affiliations are disclosed wherever an affiliated business is mentioned. If you believe a page blurs the line between editorial and promotional content, tell us through the corrections page and we will review it.
What We Will Not Accept
We do not publish fabricated reviews, invented listings, or claims we cannot verify. We do not accept advertising that misstates a property's county, school assignment, or tax treatment — the same accuracy issues we explain in Indian Land and Fort Mill mailing addresses and the property-tax guide. Local businesses that want a free, non-sponsored listing can submit a business instead, and organizers can submit an event.
